A fantastic day
Big Sky 10 was a great success, with the fairytale winners - Stacy's All Stars - taking out the final over Big White Dream Bus in a thriller. More details and photos will come, but the day raised over $15,000 for Mike and Stacy. Thank you all for your generosity and support.

What is Big Sky 10?
G'day everyone…
The Big Sky 10s Tournament will be held on Saturday 30th October this year.
There will be some small changes to the format this year, but the need for your support and involvement remains just the same.
What is Big Sky 10s?
Big Sky 10s is a tournament run to raise funds to help Mike and Stacy Neild in their ongoing battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
For those of you who don’t know Mike and Stacy:
Mike is one of the best frisbee players to have played Ultimate in Queensland and Australia. He's a champion at league, state and international level. He's a champion guy.
Stacy is Mike's wife and soulmate. They were married in 2008.
In July last year Stacy Neild was diagnosed with MND.
MND is a degenerative condition where nerves gradually lose the ability to communicate with muscles.
Some people with MND may experience a slow degeneration with limited functional disruption, whilst others exeprience rapid loss of motor control, becoming bed ridden in a short period of time.
MND is typically fatal within 3 to 5 years.
In 2009 the Big Sky 9s tournament raised $20,000 through the support and generosity of the National and International Frisbee community.
In the last year, Mike and Stacy used those funds to travel to the US to visit Stacy's family, and to put Stacy through an intensive 8 week treatment program in Nevada.
This year, their needs have changed but are no less urgent and just as costly.
They will need to relocate to a new residence that allows easier access and specialised facilities and they will need to utilise more qualified care.
The continued support of the Frisbee community will help Mike and Stacy to continue their fight.
The funding is vital, but the knowledge that they have a community of loving friends behind them is priceless.

Other Fundraising Activities:
We will be running another bunch of parallel fundraising activities again this year.
This will include a donation fund (direct debit into the fund) and a number of raffles.

More on this to come….
OK folks.
We're asking you to dig deep for your mates again this year.
